Back in early July, Designer/Illustrator/Cartoonist Zago Brothers published a digital photo of cartoon art they drew, highlighting some of their favorite people in independent media.
The poster included 10 Indie Media Award honorees, so I reached out to the artist to talk about having cartoon heads made for ALL the
honorees.
We worked out a deal and they will be producing individual cartoon heads for each honoree. There will be almost 100 in total, and we are going to ask our audience to help absorb the cost with Ko-Fi support. We’ve set the goal at $2,000.
After they’re finished, we’re going to incorporate them into graphics and provide the honorees a digital copy. You’ll also be able to purchase posters/prints of the honorees by year, by category or everyone on one poster.
Zago Brothers will be working on these over the next couple of months, in advance of announcing the honorees for the class of 2024.
